Ibiza style whites, the sound of crashing waves and epic sunsets. This perfectly describes Claire & David’s stunning Menorca wedding at Isabella Beach Club last week.
As a destination wedding photographer, it was a dream come true to finally photograph a beautiful coastal wedding in Menorca, a place that has been on my bucket list to travel to for a while!
Claire & David were looking in Ibiza at venues for a long time but couldn’t quite find what they were looking for… traditional all white Ibiza walls and chic beach vibes. They visit Menorca a fair bit due to family having a villa out here and when they visited Isabella Beach Club, all their dream wedding wishes came true and they knew it was the perfect setting for them.
Planning a wedding from the UK abroad is not an easy task, and so they had the lovely Anna of Menorca Weddings alongside them to help them plan their wedding.
My day began at the beautiful villa that Claire and her family had rented for their wedding weekend, with a lovely calm morning getting ready in the most beautiful land light rooms with a view over the hills to die for.
Claire and her bridesmaids made a very special call to Carly, one of the Bride Tribe who couldn’t make it to Menorca for the day but was very much thought of all day – she even managed to get Claire and Dave to do a shot on her in front of their guests from thousands of miles away!
Once the girls were ready we travelled around the corner to Isabella Beach Club at Fornells – a stunning white Ibizan style lounge bar/restaurant that had been transformed into an amazing wedding venue for the day.
They said their vows on the rocks in front of a gorgeous ceremony hoop, surrounded by friends and family. Everyone enjoyed a sunny afternoon drinking fizz and eating canapes; sushi canapes and Spanish croquets to name a few of the yumminess being handed around, before sitting down for dinner under a canopy of lights.
As the sun set, we heard 3 great speeches, had a musical interlude from a guitarist and saxophonist before getting down to properly boogie.
