Zoe and James celebrated their marriage at Millbridge Court last weekend and I was the lucky one there to capture the whole thing! I really do love autumn weddings, even the rain didn’t dampen any spirits!

Zoe and James chose a super chic winter grey and blush theme for their day, with stunning florals by Fairynuff Flowers and coloured linen to dress the tables.

Their wedding was full of gorgeous details, so naturally I was in heaven!

The dress code was evening wear so guests dressed to impress in tuxes and gorgeous evening gowns with Zoe wearing a glamorous sparkling gown from Pronovias.

As with winter weddings, the light disappears a lot earlier, so in order to get some lovely photos in the light, Zoe and James opted for a ‘first look’. A first look is a beautiful moment where the bride and groom get to see each other before the ceremony so they can take it all in, get rid of any jitters and enjoy some time together. They are becoming more and more popular, and I would definitely recommend them for winter weddings!

After their first look, Zoe returned to the bridal suite for touch ups while guests took their seats ready for the ceremony. Zoe and James wrote their own beautiful vows, and after lots of loud cheering, were announced husband and wife!

After the ceremony, guests tucked into delicious canapés from Kalm Kitchen before being called into dinner for a huge feast. Entertainment levels were on a high at Zoe and James’ wedding, with guests carving their dinner at the table as well as serving the largest portions of chocolatey pavlova I think anyone has ever seen! As soon as guests began eating their dessert, they were all surprised by singing waiters that had everyone on their feet, waving shoes in the air and doing the conga. It was awesome and so much fun for everyone!

After cutting their glorious cake, guests were treated to gin and tonics and the bride and groom’s first dance.
