What happens when you have a bride that loves fine art wedding flowers, rose gold details, a dreamy colour palette of blush, nude and burgundy, and a love for Australian dress designer Grace Loves Lace…..?
One stunning wedding indeed!
Amy & Lee tied the knot on Saturday 18th August at Tudor Barn in Buckinghamshire. They had a beautiful outdoor ceremony which was decorated by heavenly blooms by Liberty Lane Flowers. The weather was cloudy but warm and the rain stayed away so that they could enjoy their champagne reception outside too.
The barn had the most twinkly of ceilings, completely covered in festoon lights with yet more gorgeous flowers from Liberty Lane, bringing out the couple’s perfect palette of blush, nude and burgundy perfecty. The barn was full of metallic accents in the form of frames, foiled name places and THEN there was one dreamy cake by What Georgie Bakes.
Everyone enjoyed (what I believe to be) the most prefect wedding breakfast; sausages mash and gravy (YASSSS!!!) followed by some brilliant speeches and a good old boogie.
Amy had put a lot of time and thought into her wedding styling and has worked endlessly to ensure she could have the wedding of her dreams. She is such a lovely lady and has a very strong sense of knowing what she wants. We still joke now that she booked me to photograph their day before she had even booked her wedding! Amy looked beautiful on the day, wearing a breathtaking dress by Grace Loves Lace (an Australian designer I’ve been loving for a while!), accompanied with Valentino shoes and perfectly finished off with loose hair by Stacey Dennison and flawless make up by Lauren Faye Hill. Amy’s bridesmaids wore gorgeous cappuccino embellished dresses from Asos.
Lee and his groomsmen’s look was just as head turning, wearing slim fit burgundy coloured suits from Next which just complimented every other wedding detail and colour perfectly. I’ve not seen groomsman wear this shade before but after seeing Lee and the boys in theirs, I’m hoping to see this more and more!
Congratulations to such a lovely couple – it was a dream to be there to photograph their day.
