Outdoor ceremony at Fulham Palace

Fulham Palace is the perfect backdrop for a wedding, but especially one where couple’s choose to get married outside in their beautiful courtyard. Since the laws in the UK changed, it is now possible to have a legal ceremony in this beautiful outside space.

My lovely couple Olivia and Adam did just that last weekend on a lovely sunny August Saturday. Leo and I began our morning in Putney capturing those final ‘getting ready’ moments at the couple’s apartment before heading off to Fulham Palace to capture the gorgeous ceremony details and guests arriving.

The ceremony took place in the courtyard and after some confetti, the couple and their guests enjoyed canapes and drinks in the sunshine. We got to explore the beautiful walled garden, all to ourselves for O&A’s portraits, where we then joined guests in the marquee for dinner and speeches.

After dinner, guests were entertained to the sound of traditional Dhol drummers where they walked in procession to the back of the palace for cake cutting, coffees and dancing.
