Congratulations to Leanne & James who got married at Little Banqueting House at Hampton Court Palace last week followed by a beautiful celebration at The Mitre Hampton Court.
Their wedding day was flawless, expertly planned by the wonderful Emma of Westacott Weddings & Events. My team and I’s morning began at Leanne and James’ houses (which are next door and this is how they met!) where the couple were getting ready surrounded by family friends and their children. Leanne wore the most beautiful Phillipa Lepley wedding dress (who is personally one of my all time favourite designers!) paired with some gorgeous Louboutin pumps.
While the bridal party were finishing their final touches, James and his grooms party were arriving at Little Banqueting House to greet guests for the ceremony. The ceremony room was adorned by the most incredible floral display by Pinstripes and Peonies – it was truly breathtaking and though the room already has so much character, the flowers completely transformed the space.
Once Leanne arrived in a white taxi alongside the river, guests began to take their seats eagerly awaiting for the ceremony to begin. Leanne walked down the aisle behind her son and neice, with her lovely Dad. Their ceremony was really intimate, featuring beautiful readings from family and music by Silvermere Duo.
Afterwards, guests spilled out onto the lawn outside Little Banqueting House for some photos before being chartered down the river by boat, to The Mitre where even more guests were beginning to arrive for the reception.
After exploring the Palace and taking some couple portraits, James and Leanne hopped onto the boat to join the rest of the party on the terrace where drinks and canapes were in full flow!
Their wedding reception room was absolutely breathtaking; with draping all around, hanging lampshades, and a luxury feminine tablescape, all designed and put together by Emma. It was beautiful and every guest that entered uttered ‘wow’ the moment they saw it!
After (four wonderful) speeches and dinner, guests returned to the terrace for more drinks and a very entertaining performance from Ember that had many guests dancing away, before waving the couple off, through an exit of bubbles, back onto the boat to be whisked away!
