Emily and Simon’s London wedding at Old Sessions House was a masterclass in contemporary style and playful luxury. Planned and designed by James Green, every element was curated to feel both personal and unforgettable, from a vibrant dining experience to a party space transformed with theatrical flair.
Emily made a statement in a Catherine Dean trouser and bralet combo, paired with a hand-beaded bolero and bold fuchsia Valentino heels. Simon’s velvet blazer and black tie completed the look, setting the tone for a day that felt fashion-forward yet timeless.
The design was brought to life with a subtle yet striking swan motif woven throughout the celebration. From the swan escort cards displayed in a beautifully styled nest, to delicate glass swan favours at each place setting, and even bespoke swan illustrations on the invitations, this theme tied the day together with elegance and creativity.
The ceremony flowed seamlessly into an intimate dinner, where guests were treated to a six-course tasting menu by Lettice Events. From the carefully designed tablescape bursting with colour to the cocktail and dessert trolley, it was an experience created as much for the senses as for the memory. A rainbow-hued macaron tower added a playful finish.
As the sun set, the celebration opened up to more guests for a vibrant evening party. Emily and Simon introduced their bespoke slider bar alongside a dramatic party room complete with red velvet draping and striking ‘fallen’ chandeliers. One of the highlights of the night was Simon stepping behind the decks to DJ a set before handing over to the evening’s professional DJ, keeping the energy alive into the early hours.
From couture fashion choices to creative dining and unforgettable design, Emily and Simon’s wedding at Old Sessions House was a bold reminder that luxury weddings are all about crafting experiences that surprise, delight and leave a lasting impression. A true inspiration for couples and wedding planners alike.
Congratulations to the sweetest couple. I can’t wait to share more!
