Zoe & Callum | Millbridge Court | Wedding Day Preview

Absolutely loved photographing Zoe and Callum’s Millbridge Court wedding a couple of weekends ago. Scottish kilts, fantastic wild flowers and gorgeous food at a venue I love, Millbridge Court.

Zoe and Callum met back at university in their very first year! A story I can relate to as I also met my husband at uni. The couple are such a warm and insanely smilie couple who are clearly loved by so many people as there was such an incredible number of friends and family there on their wedding day – the largest wedding at Millbridge Court that I’ve photographed to date!

As always, I love working there and with some great suppliers too! The fabulous Sharon Roberts turned Zoe’s hair into a master piece; why is this woman not available daily to help me with my barnet?! The most glam yet understated bride EVER, for a £160 dress from and she ROCKED it. She looked completely and utterly stunning – £60s VERY well spent!!!

The venue was decorated with lovely wild flowers and pastel coloured balloons by Bubblegum Balloons. Not forgetting the incredible Kalm Kitchen Doughnut Wall station which Zoe and Callum had instead of a traditional wedding cake; they ‘shared a bite’ rather than cutting a cake! So much fun.

We were blessed with nice weather so guests played a few lawn games and enjoyed top ups of bubble outside as well as rather scrummy canapés from the delightful Kalm Kitchen.

After some fantastic speeches and a huge sugar rush post devouring doughnuts and mini desserts from the Pattiserie Bar, guests got physical learning some FANTASTIC Ceildih moves.

Here’s a lovely message I received from the Bride and Groom while they were on honeymoon:

The sneak peak is absolutely fantastic, in particular the photo of me and my dad and Cal with the boys just made my heart melt.

“You really added so much more to our day than just photos. You were totally right when you said people often think you’re a guest because of the way you blend in – all our friends and family loved you! We will also never forget your face in the middle of the first Ceilidh with everyone came charging towards you!”
