Rachel and Stephen’s luxury wedding at Pylewell Park will always be one I’ll remember, especially because of the beautiful sunset we were lucky to experience down on the beach.

However, I’ll start from the beginning of their day. My assistant and I arrived at midday to document morning prep for the couple which was filled with a fun, calm yet naturally nervous atmosphere. Everyone was so excited for the day ahead and both bride and groom surrounded themselves with incredible helpful and calming bridesmaids and groomsmen who helped their mornings run seamlessly.

Rachel and the girls got ready at Pylewell Park’s incredibly beautiful bridal suite (complete with two giant copper bath tubs). We had fun taking photos and I loved capturing all the natural excitement that filled the room. Once Rachel was ready, we invited her Father in which was an incredibly beautiful and emotional moment for us all – one of my favourite parts of a wedding like this.

My brilliant assistant Steph spent the morning with the boys, getting ready at the cottages near by and then welcoming guests in the gardens of Pylewell Park.

The couple chose to get married inside a stately room at the venue which considering being the hottest day of the year (and probably record high for the month of September) was a brilliant choice, not just for it’s sheer elegance and beauty, but it was certainly the cooler option.

Their ceremony was beyond beautiful, with a very emotional groom (my favourite type) and excellent subtle outbursts from little ones to make the room laugh.

Rachel Stephen and their guests enjoyed delicious canapes and refreshments on the lawn under some much welcomed shade from the incredible trees that adorn the grounds at Pylewell Park.

Dinner was served in the Pavillion and during desserts we were lucky enough to slip out to take some sunset photos on the beach near by (walking past happy sun dwellers and their evening BBQs). Speeches by all were absolutely amazing, heartfelt (not a dry eye during Stephen’s speech) and lots of laughs at the Best Men.

Evening pizza was served and the couple took to the dance floor with their guests, and a fabulous friend who sang their first dance song, a favourite being Elton John, Your Song.

An absolutely sensational day that was a total honour to document with my team. Thank you thank you thank you to Rachel & Stephen, and many Congratulations.
